Coach Mike Krzyzewski will coach his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, when Duke hosts North Carolina this Saturday (6 ET on ESPN). This will be ‘Coach K’s’ 97th meeting with North Carolina, an opponent he has gone 50-46 against in his career.

During the previous 96 meetings, Duke has outscored North Carolina by just 49 points. These two met earlier this season in Chapel Hill, a game the Blue Devils won 87-67.

North Carolina leads the all-time series between these two teams, 141-115, but in the last 100 meetings, Duke has a 51-49 lead. In those 100 games, the two teams were separated by just 23 points.

According to VividSeats, the average ticket price for Saturday’s game ($5,307) is more expensive than all but three Super Bowls and more than double any other college basketball game since 2010, which was another rivalry game between North Carolina and Duke in 2019, which featured Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett ($2,408).

Krzyzewski has a career record of 612-93 (.868 winning percentage) at home as head coach. Throughout his 47 seasons, he never had a losing record at home and finished 11 seasons in his career with an unbeaten record at home.

In his 42 seasons at Duke, Krzyzewski has been responsible for 62% (572/930) of wins in the history of the head coaching program at Cameron Indoor Stadium. His 572 is more than all previous head coaches combined.
