At the Halle des Crêtets, BC La Chaux-de-Fonds (BCC) certainly signed one of the greatest successes of its season. In front of their home crowd, the Abeilles beat Team Argovia 5-3, one of the usual cadors of the national league A.

Paradoxically, the result of this fourteenth day of interclubs does not really suit the team from the watchmaking metropolis. At the same time, Lausanne, the main contender in the fight against relegation, won 7-1 against Brig. The Vaudois now have a six-point lead with one game more than Chaux-de-Fonniers. A real abyss just three days before the end of the championship.
Great performances
Facing the Aargau formation, Noé Varrin and his teammates signed several performances of choice. Mathias Bonny notably won in singles in five sets, as did the Spaniard Pablo Abian.
In mixed doubles, the pair composed of Edith Urell and Gilles Tripet created a little surprise by paying the scalp of the Austrian Serena Au Yeong and the German Johannes Pistorius.
This Sunday March 6 (2 p.m.), the BCC will travel to Saint-Gall, the red lantern of the championship.
