Prometey announced that it has stopped all sports activities and withdrawn from the Basketball Champions League. The Ukrainian team stated that the junior teams and volleyball branches were also stopped.
Club president Volodymyr Dubinsky announced the decision as follows:
“There is a war going on in Ukraine right now. That’s why we made the difficult but firm decision to stop all team activities and withdraw the men’s basketball team from the Champions League. We aim to defend Ukraine by supporting our army with all our might, money and resources.
