When will a star with CF Montreal?

Olivier Renard was asked the question as part of his column In the eye of the foxSaturday.

The sporting director replied that it was not in the plans at the moment, but that might change one day.

“Everyone has their own investment strategy. We still bought players too. We bought the option of Ahmed Hamdi, of Torres and we invested in Alistair Johnston. It’s not huge amounts like some clubs have been able to do, but it’s our strategy. There are other clubs in MLS who spend more or less the same budget as us and who have very good results. It is rather our strategy to do like that for the moment.
