It seems that the list of casualties of top tennis players for the final phase of the Davis Cup 2022 adds a new member. Casper Ruud’s Norway were eliminated in qualifying after losing 3-1 on aggregate to Kazakhstan. After the 1-1 established yesterday after the singles matches, the doubles pair formed by Andrey Golubev and Aleksandr Nedvyesov defeated the duo formed by Viktor Durasovic and Simen Sunde Bratholm by 7-6 (10) and 6-3. The tie was getting red hot and the Kazakh Alexander Bublik managed to classify his team, thanks to the victory achieved against Casper Ruud by 6-4, 5-7 and 6-4.
