The counters heated up for Karl-Anthony Towns and Jayson Tatum, both undefeated respectively with Minnesota (4-0) and Boston (3-0) and rewarded with a new title of player of the week.
Jayson Tatum hit very hard with 41.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5 assists on average. Karl-Anthony Towns also went full throttle with 28 points, 64.1% marksmanship, and 9 rebounds on average.
This is the second distinction of this kind this season for the two players who had already been elected players of the week, on December 20. In career, the two are also six “Player of the week” titles each.
