Matthew McConaughey claimed regular use of a special pomade helped him regrow his hair.

During a recent interview for LADBible, the Oscar-winning actor explained that he noticed his hair changing in the early 2000s. So he decided to take action, but, contrary to what you might believe – and what some say – cosmetic surgery has nothing to do.

“You can see old movies like ‘A Marriage Too Perfect’ and you’ll see I was losing my hair. I have a photo, from the New Year’s Eve party in 2000. I was looking down laughing and there was a baseball sized hole on the top of my head.

“I have more hair now than in 1999”

He went on to explain that he shaved his head so he could best massage an ointment into his scalp ‘once a day for 10 minutes’ to combat hair loss. “I was totally involved. No Finasteride (note: a drug that helps against hair loss), Nothing at all. It was just manual labor,” the 52-year-old continued, noting that he doesn’t know why the process worked out so well. “All I can tell you is that they came back. I have more hair now than in 1999.”

Additionally, the father-of-three claimed he had never had a hair transplant, although a doctor approached him once and another surgeon spread a rumor that he was responsible for his hair transplant. transformation. “The doctor said, ‘Can I just look at your hair? Can I just touch them and see?” I said, “Come on man.” And he found, “You don’t have any grafts!” I said, “That’s what I said, of course not.”
