Ironically, the Hallesche FC! Magdeburg’s unloved rival is the only club so far this season against which FCM has failed to win either of its two third division duels.
A fact that should annoy the fans in particular. But they can still look forward to it soon. BILD gives four reasons why promotion at the end of the season still works.
►Duration Superiority
Only nine times did the FCM not come off the pitch as a winner this season (including five draws). The leader was never the worse team.

►Record-Course
Even if the derby victory was missed – the FCM has not been defeated for 15 games and can still break their own record of points (85 points). And: Only once in the history of the third division did the first team not get promoted from matchday 29 (Duisburg 2019/20).

The FCM always came out of disappointments stronger this season – mainly thanks to perfect game analysis.

Six of the last nine opponents are in the lower half of the table – absolutely feasible for the Titz-Elf.
