With the aim of providing the necessary tools for the teaching and development of the discipline, the Municipal Sports Institute of Tijuana (Imdet), in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), will carry out the international course Shuttle Time de Bádminton.
The activity will take place on Saturdays April 2, 9 and 16 at the Tijuana and Reforma sports units, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on day 2; and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 9th and 16th. The new State Sports Council of Baja California was integrated, in a ceremony held at the High Performance Center (CAR) Tijuana, by Norma Olivia Guerrero, director of the National Sports System (Sinade).
The Council of the State Sports System aims to propose policies and actions that tend to improve and promote sports in the entity, in sporadic meetings with directors of the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture (INDE), whose head in the State, Lourdes Cañez Martínez -accompanied by the technical secretary Ismael Ramos-, invited the new members to guide, work and always watch over the good of Baja Californian sports. After deadline, MLB and Association fail to reach agreement
The deadline to close a new labor agreement, determined on March 1, was given without an agreement between Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association (MLBPA), after players voted to reject the final proposal.
Failing to reach an agreement, MLB announced that each team’s first two regular-season series will not take place, meaning the regular season will start no earlier than April 7, while exhibition games will start no earlier than April 7.
