TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BALI – There was a surprise when Persib Bandung met Persiraja Banda Aceh last night, Saturday (5/3/2022) at I Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar.
Maung Bandung’s main goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam was not on the line-up.
He did not become the main goalkeeper was not even on the bench.
In fact, Teja Paku Alam had attended a virtual media gathering before the match, Friday, March 4, 2022 yesterday.
But recently, Teja suffered an injury while undergoing official training.
The player from West Sumatra also had to step aside for a while.
This was later confirmed by the Persib Bandung team doctor, Rafi Ghani by letter numbered 050/KLUB-PERSIB/III-2022.
This letter is addressed to the President Director of PT. New Indonesian League, Akhmad Hadian Lukita.
“Persib player, NPG 14, Teja Paku Alam goalkeeper position cannot appear in the match because the player in question suffered an injury when the Persib club carried out official training on March 4, 2022,” the letter reads as quoted from the club’s official website.
In Liga 1 for the 2021-2022 season, Teja Paku Alam has appeared in 21 matches.
