Italy committed to the Spanish Para-Badminton International. ROME – A silver and three bronze medals: this is the booty of the Azzurri at the Spanish Para-Badminton International which took place in Vitoria, Spain, last week. Three medals placed around the neck by Yuri Ferrigno who won the silver without being able to play the final due to the unavailability of his mixed doubles partner, the Peruvian Pilar Jauregui. The English David Follett and the Swiss Ilaria Renggli therefore climbed the top step of the podium. Ferrigno’s other two medals came in the men’s singles and doubles where the blue was overtaken in both cases by the very strong Malaysian Muhammad Ikwan Ramli who won respectively in two sets (21-15; 21-15) and in three set (16-21; 21-16; 21-16). Bronze also for Rosa De Marco who in the semifinals was overcome in two struggled sets (21-17; 21-19) by the Portuguese Beatriz Monteiro. Both Ferrigno and De Marco will immediately return to the field from tomorrow always in Spain but Cartagena for the Iberdrola Spanish ParaBadminton International. . mc / com 07-Mar-22 12:16
