The leading team of the Eastern Group “Gulbenes Buki” returned to their usual home after Gulbene Sports Center book players Raimonds Gabrāns, Pavel Veselova and Artūrs Brūniņš.
Today, the RSU team, which has been trained by Kristaps Zeids, became the Latvian champions of VEF Farm Club. After a small home offensive in the middle of the first quarter, the RSU team took the lead at the end of the first quarter, winning by nine points. Ingars Aizpurs stood out with 29 points and four intercepted balls. Ervin Ivanov, on the other hand, helped forge book victory with 15 points, most of which were achieved at the very end of the game. In the RSU unit Raivo Butirins scored 17 points and eight rebounds. Edgars Lācis scored 14 points in the RSU ranks, but Ginters Blumbergs was 13th.
