The tireless Polish striker, author of the fastest triplet in the Champions League, leads the recital of the German champion, who passed the roller against Salzburg and cleared doubts
Bayern Munich passed the roller on Salzburg and will be in the Champions League quarterfinals for the twentieth time in its history. The fastest hat-trick in the history of the top continental competition, signed by Robert Lewandowski in the blink of an eye, and another goal from Gnabry when the first half hour had barely passed, resolved a cross that had been complicated for the Bavarian team with the tie at one registered in the first leg played three weeks ago, but which ended in a pickle.
Because Julien Nagelsmann’s team applied their usual offensive whirlwind at the Allianz Arena to clear up the doubts that they had been throwing in recent games and gave a blow of authority that once again consecrates them as one of the main favorites to take home the ‘orejona’ which will be delivered on May 28 at the French venue in Saint-Denis.
Müller, with a double in the second half, and Sané completed Bayern’s win in a bath and massage session that brought Matthias Jaissle’s squad down to earth, brave as the youth of his squad demands but too tender for such a morlaco .

Second leg of the Champions League round of 16, played at the Allianz Arena.
There was no more history in the fort of the six-time European champion than the one Lewandowski wrote with his display of resources to turn the lives of rival defenders into real torment. A combination between Müller and his main partner for eight years that ended with a whiplash from the Pole to which Köhn responded with a superb save showed the will of the German colossus to resolve the pass as soon as possible. It is true that, far from being daunted, Salzburg replied with the self-confidence that characterizes Jaissle’s young team and Coman had to abort ‘in extremis’ a shot by Capaldo after a good run down the left. But there the few options of the Austrian team expired and the figure of an unstoppable ‘killer’ emerged.
The Pole hit Wöber, who first knocked him down in the heart of the area when the striker was turning and later threw him back to the edge of the line so that the VAR corrected the foul that the referee had initially indicated and decreed another penalty maximum that, like the previous one, converted the ‘9’ with the serenity that characterizes him. Immediately afterwards, the former Borussia Dortmund player defined at will after a series of errors from the Austrian defense to surpass by one minute the record held by Marco Simone, who in 1996 took 23 to score three goals against Rosenborg when defending the shirt of the Milan.
From then on there was no color. The possibility of coming back from three goals against Bayern in their fiefdom was quixotic and Gnabry raised the lead by taking advantage of a recovery by Coman to overcome Köhn with a cross shot. Müller increased the bleeding of Salzburg at the beginning of the second half with a shot from the edge of the area in the purest Lewandowski style: turning on a tile and releasing an unappealable whiplash next to the stump of the post. The midfielder increased the scoring in the final stretch with another left-footed pass from Sané and the former Manchester City player closed the trickle after an assist from Lewandowski. Kjaergaard had scored the goal of honor for the red bulls, but the headlines were almost always taken: a Lewandowski who already has twelve goals in this edition of the Champions League and wants to continue raising his legend.
