Everything goes there: combat techniques, archery, games in the past, legionnaires’ equipment… “It was learned that they had open mesh and closed mesh,” say Mathis and Loevan, 4th Latinists.

Two new workshops have been added: the weaving and the medicine of yore, herbal. In the next class, we learn about sutures, dressings and natural medicines.

Culture through Latin

She initiated this time of immersion, repeated every three years. “It motivates them, they are waiting for this moment”. Doing the tortoise or learning how to fight the old-fashioned way makes others curious, from hallways or classrooms. Result: an increase in the number of students interested in Latin.
