Ritchie De Laet is out of Antwerp indefinitely. He was quickly substituted in the Antwerp derby and is now prescribed rest. The Great Old announced this in a press release, although the analysts do not understand it much.
“Ritchie needs some rest to allow his body to fully recover after a long and grueling season. Our player has been struggling with some injuries and discomfort lately, and has continued to play at the same time until he couldn’t anymore.”
“Now it’s important that Ritchie gets back to 100% fit before he can play. The club gives him plenty of time for that. Some treatments have already started. Neither the club nor the player will comment further on this,” the press release was clear.
Isn’t it right?
“I’ve never seen something like that being made public in a press release,” said Arnar Vidarsson in Extra Time† “This just isn’t right, is it?”
“Something like that is never done for announcements about such injuries. This is crisis, a bomb has exploded on De Bosuil. Then they better say nothing.”
