Rumors of a change of equipment supplier on the side of the Italian selection have been pressing in recent months. The Italian Football Federation have just confirmed his future transfer.
After spending 20 years alongside Puma, the Italian selection announced on Wednesday that it would come under the fold of Adidas in 2023 under a multi-year contract.
“We are delighted to have one of the most successful national teams join our portfolio of International Federations, alongside other giants such as DFB (Germany), RFEF (Spain), AFA (Argentina) and RBFA (Belgium) and we look forward to achieving great goals together,” Kasper Rorsted, CEO of Adidas, said in a statement.
Puma consoles itself by winning the Serie A technical partner contract and will manufacture the balls to replace Nike, starting next season.
