GROSSETO – A sports story, a love story for baseball, a story that has been written and deserves to be read. The outlined goal is to bring the public closer to the game of baseball, through the passion, life and sport experience that accompanied the path of one of the greatest Italian players in this fascinating discipline.
Alessandro Maestri will be in Grosseto on Saturday 12 March to present the book written jointly with Elio (historical leader of the Elio group and the tense stories), entitled “I was called Maesutori – Baseball and life”. The initiative promoted by BSC Grosseto, a baseball company very active in the area, aims to involve the public of fans and not only, with the aim of making known a game that deserves, at least once, to be tried. It is no coincidence that the appointment is also aimed at the youngest, with BSC Grosseto which has identified in the lecture hall of the Fossombroni institute, the suitable place for the meeting with the baseball champion. In fact, the children of the sports course of the school in via Sicilia will participate in the event.
Lorenzo Falconi, journalist of Radio Sportiva, will moderate the meeting with Alessandro Maestri. Admission is free and open to all those who want to participate, but with a limited number, in order to ensure compliance with health regulations.
