The evening was marked by the moving speech of the daughter of the Tiger, Sam, 14 years old. Sam Woods took the floor to return to the journey of his illustrious father, insisting in particular on his beating character. Tiger Woods also split a poignant speech, emphasizing the leading role played by his parents Tida and Earl and all the sacrifices made since his youngest age.

“I feel so honored to have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and to be introduced by my daughter Sam and surrounded by my family made this moment even more special,” Tiger Woods wrote on Twitter.

Seriously injured a year ago in a car accident, the Tiger has been fighting ever since to get back on the greens. The American has a whopping 109 professional victories, including 82 on the PGA Tour and 15 in major tournaments. The 46-year-old Californian also held the world No.1 spot for 683 weeks.
