Tiger Woods entered the World Golf Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening, surrounded by his loved ones.
He will have waited until he was 46 for his name to be finally registered in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Tiger Woods , the greatest golfer of all time, was surrounded by his family on Wednesday evening in Florida to receive this great honor. Very moved, the American was awarded this distinction by his daughter Sam, 14, and his son Charlie, 13. His mother Kultida Woods, 78, and his partner Erica Herman were also in attendance for the ceremony which took place at the Florida Museum.

At the podium, Sam Woods spoke strong words to his father. She notably recounted how their life almost turned into horror last year, when Tiger Woods was the victim of a serious car accident. “We didn’t know if you would come home with your two legs or not. And today, not only are we inducting you into the Hall of Fame, but there you are, on your own two feet. That’s why you deserve all of this,” she said. “You are a fighter, and you defy time”.
“I know that golf is an individual sport, you do a lot of things alone, for hours on end, but as far as I’m concerned, I didn’t get there alone. I have incredible parents, mentors and loved ones who supported me in the hardest, darkest times, and celebrated the best moments,” commented the golfer.
