This Wednesday, March 9, 2022, will go down in history as the day the American, Tiger Woods inducted into the Golf Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place at the Global Home of the PGA Tour, located in Ponte Vedra, Florida.

The person in charge of presenting the winner of 82 tournaments as a professional, including 15 Majorsit was his daughter Sam, 14 years old, who gave an emotional speech.

“A year ago you were in a hospital bed. One of the scariest moments in your life and ours, we didn’t know if you were going to come home with two legs or not and now you’re not only being inducted into the Hall of Fame, but you are standing here with your own feet”mentioned in reference to the spectacular car accident that the athlete experienced in February 2021.

Later, Tiger himself took the stage and also shared a few words for those present. The “Tiger” thanked all those people who helped him during his career and also delivered a powerful motivational message.

“They are not going to give you anything, you have to earn everything. If you don’t go and get to work, you make an effort, first: you will not get the results and second: you do not deserve it”, he stated.
