If the club that makes the least use of its opportunities is relegated, Hertha BSC will play in the second division next season!
How the Berliners have gotten worse everywhere since 2019 despite Lars Windhorst’s 375 million euros is a total failure by everyone involved.
Unbelievable: In the last season before the investor got involved, the club had twelve more points after 25 matchdays than now. Today the planned “Big City Club” is the most broken club in the Bundesliga – despite Fredi Bobic.
The successor to the failed Michael Preetz came as a huge beacon of hope, but he was put in a financial straitjacket on the first day, which left little room for the conversion of the completely wrongly assembled team. Preetz had simply sunk too many millions into far too expensive players.
However: Bobic also made many mistakes. Kevin-Prince Boateng’s return is a huge disappointment. Traveling to the Super Bowl in times of crisis was the completely wrong sign. His coaching solution Tayfun Korkut seems helpless and overwhelmed after nine winless games in a row. And yet Bobic remains the last hope that this club has.
It’s just a shame that Windhorst has now stopped the planned behind-the-scenes documentary about Hertha. It would have been nice to see what went wrong there since he started.
