Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) have ended their differencesagreeing to a new collective agreement with many more benefits for the players than the one previously negotiated in 2016.
With this good news, the different stars of the league will immediately return to training and next week there will be a frenzy never seen before in MLB regarding remaining free agents.
In this context, the opening day for the official games has been pushed back to April 7, and the franchises and their players have agreed that the schedule will not lose gamesbut all of them will run for a week (the previous Opening Day was scheduled for March 31).
