On March 12 and 13, theAmiens UC Badminton is once again organizing its hortillon tournament. It happens all weekend at the Halle des 4 Chênes.
After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the club is once again organizing its flagship tournament. The biggest club in the department de la Somme, which now has 260 members, will welcome throughout the weekend more than 170 players. Among them, 47 Amiens will take part in the competition.
In terms of figures, it’s a small edition compared to previous ones, linked to late communication from the club, but the organizers remain satisfied with the enthusiasm around the tournament. The competition will see badminton players compete in women’s singles, men’s singles, women’s doubles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles in 4 different series (N2/N3, R4/R5, R6/D7, D8/D9)
In total, these are 291 matches which will take place on the grounds of the Halle des 4 Chênes. The organizing club was keen to favor quality and to offer as many matches as possible for the players involved in the draws.
