Frenchman Mathieu Burgaudeau wins the 6th stage of Paris-Nice

Mathieu Burgaudeau (TotalEnergies) won the 6th stage of Paris-Nice on Friday March 11, the longest of the event with 213.6 kilometers between Courthézon (Vaucluse) and Aubagne (Bouches-du-Rhône). Burgaudeau, who went on the attack 8 kilometers from the finish, resisted in extremis the return of the peloton settled by the Dane Mads Pedersen in front of the Belgian Wout van Aert. The Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo) retained the leader’s yellow jersey on the eve of the only arrival at the top.
