A total of 28 archers, from places as far away as Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia, Rio Grande, Neuquén and, in addition to them, several representatives of the Andean Patagonian Archery Club, will be participating this Sunday in the Patagonic Outdoor Tournament.
This tournament, which is ranked for the National Open Air, will be held at the Municipal Stadium of Esquel where 12 contention will be arranged, according to distances and categories.
The day will start at 9 a.m., with the registration of the goalkeepers that will be in charge of the team captains, then the meeting of the same captains and, after cardboard, the review of the teams to start, at 10:30 a.m. , with the first round of rolls.
After a short break of half an hour, the start of the second round is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., as reported by the organization.
On the other hand, the eliminatory rounds (or finals) are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and then the awards will take place, according to the categories.
This tournament is organized by the Andean Patagonian Archery Club whose president is Fabián Carrizo, precisely one of the local team’s shooters.
Archers from institutions such as: Amigos del Arco de Commodore Rivadavia, Patagonic Archers Simple Association of Neuquén, Andina Archery of San Carlos de Bariloche, Club Atlético Pacífico of Neuquén, Petrochemical Archery Club of Comodoro Rivadavia, Flechas del Nahuel de Bariloche, Rio Grande Archery (Tierra del Fuego) and the premises of the Andean Patagonian Archery Club.
Let us remember that, despite being a relatively young club, the Andean Patagonian Archery Club is one of the benchmarks in the region, where with a lot of commitment and dedication they were able to develop several national tournaments, both indoors and outdoors, as one One of its members, Román Campos, has been president of FATARCO for several years, which is the governing body of this discipline at the national level.
