Resca, De Filippis and Grazini very far from the leading positions – OA Sport

The second qualifying round of the men’s trapduring the inaugural stage of the 2022 Clay Shooting World Cup, does not bring good news for Italian colors. Daniele Resca, Mauro De Filippis and Valerio Grazini did not appear brilliant in their rounds of shooting: let’s see how things went in detail.

Leading the operations at the moment is the Australian James Willett who, with the score of 97/100, has virtually lined up all 113 participants in the competition crumbling, in today’s detail, 48 of the 50 targets available.

And the blues? As mentioned, the feedback from Cyprus is anything but positive. The best currently is Daniele Resca, in 37th place at an altitude of 90/100 (20 + 22 today, certainly not his best day), preceding a virtually 43rd Mauro De Filippis (89/100, 21 + 22 on this Friday 11 March) and a Valerio Grazini even placed himself in 79th place (84/100 the overall score, 18 + 20).

The situation ahead of tomorrow is sporty desperate. To try to get back into the group at least of the semi-finalists, the Italians should recover between three and nine targets behind, compared to the eighth position occupied by the Polish Piotr Kowalczyk, who closed his second round with an overall score of 93/100.

We will see how the last qualifying round will develop tomorrow, only 25 targets, then waiting to understand which shooters will play their cards in the final act for the victory in Cypriot soil.
