SOE Minister Erick Thohir is satisfied with the asphalt repair Mandalika Circuit before being used for racing MotoGP Mandalika 2022 on March 18-20.
This was revealed by Erick after reviewing the Mandalika Circuit, Friday (11/3). Accompanied by Deputy Minister Kartika Wirjoatmodjo and Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Zulkieflimansyah, Erick said he was satisfied to see the asphalt repairs and improvements to the Mandalika Circuit facilities.
“The track conditions are getting better and more beautiful,” said Erick, quoted from Between.
Through his Instagram account, Erick also called the Mandalika Circuit the most beautiful MotoGP circuit in the world after checking the details of the condition of the asphalt repair which was completely completed on March 10 last.
“Today at Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit with the Deputy Minister. If the Deputy Minister said, ‘The best and the most beautiful MotoGP circuit in the world’, hehe, I do, yes!,” Erick wrote.
Meanwhile, NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah said the Mandalika Circuit was ready to hold MotoGP next week.

“Alhamdulillah, the asphalt repairs have been completed and God willing, we are ready for the MotoGP race next week,” he said.
Not only asphalt repairs on some of the tracks of the Mandalika Circuit, the MGPA and ITDC also ensure that the track conditions are clean. In addition, the Mandalika MotoGP spectator stands have also been fully installed.
