Tomorrow the Galician Judo Championship will be held in the Santa Isabel Pavilion, in Santiago de Compostela, in the junior categories, those born between 2002 and 2007.
Three judokas from Ourense Judo Club Marbel will participate in it: Iván Vasallo in the -60 kilos category, Guillermo Arenas (-66 kilos) and Lauro Kauán (-81 kilos).
According to Master Manuel Montero, everyone “can have a good tournament, with the aim of reaching the podium”. Kauán and Arenas appear after proclaiming themselves Galician champions in the regional Jiu Jitsu, a modality very similar to Judo.
The weigh-in will take place at 10:30 a.m. The competition will start at 12:00 noon. The combats will be held with a duration of four minutes.
Teachers Felipe Iglesias and Anita Fernández will complete the expedition from Ourense.
