Mavericks win against Rockets – record for Gregg Popovich

Houston – The Dallas Mavericks got back on track after being sidelined by the New York Knicks in the NBA and clearly won the Texas duel with the Houston Rockets.

The 113:100 was the eighth win from the past ten games for the team around NBA star Luka Doncic and national player Maxi Kleber.

Two days after the 77:107 against the Knicks, the Mavericks were only temporarily behind against the Rockets around national player Dennis Schröder in the first quarter and then had the game completely under control. Doncic was the best thrower with 30 points, Kleber remained without a basket, Schröder only hit one shot from the game and got three points.

The third team from Texas wrote a piece of NBA history with the 104:102 home win against the Utah Jazz: For head coach Gregg Popovich it was the 1336th victory in the best basketball league in the world. He is now the record holder and has one more than Don Nelson.

Schröder’s former team, the Boston Celtics, won 114-103 at home against the Detroit Pistons and moved closer to the Chicaco Bulls in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Daniel Theis had three rebounds and one assist, but was left without his own basket. There was also a victory for the Berlin brothers Moritz and Franz Wagner with the Orlando Magic. In the 118:110 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Moritz Wagner came off the bench with 18 points, his brother had eight points.
