Reportedly, Madrid and Mbappe explored the negotiation process in the past week. The finalization of this will reportedly happen next Friday, in which Mbappe will make a deal with Los Blancos.
Reportedly, Mbappe will receive a fee of 60 to 80 million euros (Rp 937 billion – Rp 1.2 trillion). The 23-year-old player will earn a season salary of 25 million euros, or around IDR 390.5 billion after tax.
This news emerged a few days after Paris Saint-Germain were eliminated by Real Madrid. Les Parisiens lost 1-3 to Madrid in the second leg, after winning 1-0 in the first leg, thus being eliminated on a 2-3 aggregate. Kylian Mbappe himself made two goals from the meeting against Real Madrid yesterday.
Mbappe’s contract will expire at the end of the season. After not signing a new contract at PSG in the January transfer window, he is free to negotiate with other clubs.
PSG tried to arrest Mbappe by offering a blank check, but it was reportedly rejected. The player is allegedly going to move to Spain.
Madrid has been eyeing Mbappe for a long time, even since he was dressed as AS Monaco. However, the player chose a career at PSG, which so far has produced 157 goals and contributed 10 trophies, including three Ligue 1 titles, three French Cup titles, two French League Cup titles and one French Super Cup.
If he signs a contract at Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe will still stay at Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season. Currently he is helping his team compete in Ligue 1, with PSG still leading the French League standings.
