Norderstedt (em) Ranking tournament for the U18 and U21 judoka of the Hamburg Judo Association Since all judo championships were moved to the second half of 2022, the Hamburg Judo Association offered a ranking tournament on the weekend of February 26/27, 2022, in which the U18 and U21 could measure in and around Hamburg once.

On Saturday, February 26th the TuRan boys U18 started:

60kg: Glen Knoll, fourth place – His record was even with two wins and two losses, with runner-up, third-place finisher and Glen all having two wins each, only for Glen to lose in head-to-head. But Glen ended up being the only one to beat the winner, a small consolation.

66kg: Unfortunately, Amir Gerisha lost twice and could not place.

73kg: Marcel Frtig unfortunately did not compete due to injury.

On Sunday, February 27th then the U18 female of the Norderstedt judoka:

52kg: Last year’s Ju-Jutsu World Champion Jule Jacobs won her competition, losing to her final opponent in the preliminary round, but then defeating her in the final.

57kg: Michelle Rockmann won and lost once in the preliminary round. In the semifinals, despite a strong fight, she lost and finished third.

57kg: Kea Knoll recorded two wins and one loss in the preliminary round. She lost again in the semifinals, but she was the youngest participant and can be satisfied with the other third place (there are always two third places in judo).

The deputy department head of the TuRaner Judoka, Jessika Dubitzky, thanked the Norderstedt coaches of this event, head coach Dominik Falk, his brother Daniel Falk and judo veteran Jarek Bravata.
