Teunissen with series of assignments in Paris-Nice, Enjoyed by blown over boarding

Michael Storer and Anthony Turgis, among others, did not start this afternoon in the seventh stage of Paris-Nice. After there were no less than 18 withdrawals for stage five and six withdrawals for stage six, there are now seven more riders to follow.
Storer (Groupama-FDJ) is struggling with bronchitis and is therefore not at the start. Yevgeniy Fedorov of Astana Qazaqstan, on the other hand, is ill according to his team. The teams gave no reason for the withdrawals of Max Walscheid (Cofidis), Dimitri Claeys (Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert) Anthony Turgis and Geoffrey Soupe (both TotalEnergies).
For today’s most unusual assignment, we have to go to Kevin Enjoys. The Groupama-FDJ rider was hit at the start by a boarding that was blown over by the wind. Enjoyed is said to have been treated on his ankle for ten minutes by a medical team. The Luxembourg champion has still started in the queen stage of Paris-Nice, but has dropped out before the official start.

There are also assignments in Tirreno-Adriatico today. Two Arkéa Samsic riders, Thibault Guernalec and Dan McLay, did not start in the queen stage due to illness.
Update: Teunissen, Girmay and Sénéchal leave Paris-Nice, Narváez from Tirreno-Adriatico
Jumbo-Visma late via their Twitter know that Mike Teunissen has left the race in France. According to his team, the Dutchman would not want to force anything with a view to the classics that are coming. Teunissen rode in Paris-Nice in support of his teammates, Wout van Aert and Primož Roglič. In the opening weekend in Belgium he contributed to the successes of his team and he himself ensured a 24th and 14th place.
Biniam Girmay, Florian Sénéchal and Alexis Vuillermoz have also dropped out in Paris-Nice. The riders of Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert, Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl and TotalEnergies respectively gave up during the seventh stage. Girmay wore the white jersey earlier this week. He also showed himself by finishing in the top 10 three times.
Jhonatan Narváez can no longer be seen in Tirreno-Adriatico. The INEOS Grenadiers rider has fallen during the sixth stage and had to give up the fight. The 25-year-old driver from Ecuador is having a strong spring. In the Belgian opening weekend, just like last year, he showed himself and in the Strade Bianche he rode to sixth place last week.
