On the last day of testing, Verstappen was the fastest in Bahrain – F1sport.cz

Three-day tests ended in Bahrain today. Teams don’t pack this time. The first race of this season will take place on the same circuit next weekend.

The test day started at 9:00 our time and ended at 17:00, but Haas got extra time. He could not drive on Thursday morning due to logistics.

Kevin Magnussen took the extra hour in the morning. Before lunch, Haas had technical problems that did not affect him much.

In the afternoon, Magnussen was replaced by Schumacher, who took care of one of the red flags. Schumacher spun at the end of the lap, but his car avoided the barrier. The Haas rider headed back to the mechanics. Schumacher was given the opportunity to test for two hours after the end of the test day.

Shortly before the end, Valtteri Bottas took care of the red flags after Schumacher, who parked his car on the track.

After the opening laps, McLaren installed modified parts on the car that arrived on the circuit and improved the cooling of the brakes.

Red Bull put on the modified sidewalls again. Helmut Marko was excited about the new package. Pérez set off on the track later in the morning, but immediately set the fastest time. He was gradually overcome. It was not until the end of the day that Verstappen deployed the softest tires and set the fastest time of day.
