Telekom Baskets Bonn have drawn level with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga after victories.
After the clear home win against Bayern, the Rhinelanders won 85:73 at the Hamburg Towers and thus celebrated their 18th success of the season.
The Bonn team’s best thrower was Parker Jackson-Cartwright with 22 points. The game of Bayern in Ulm had to be postponed due to another outbreak of corona in Munich.
Despite huge personnel problems, medi Bayreuth had to play against the game in Göttingen. The Franconians only had six players available, but they put up a thrilling fight with the people from Göttingen and even made it into overtime. In the end, coach Raoul Korner’s team had to admit defeat 91:92.
Würzburg (91:74 against Crailsheim) and Heidelberg (81:78 against Braunschweig) celebrated important victories in the table cellar. Ludwigsburg beat Brose Bamberg 95:76 and stays on top.
