MLB announces schedule with changes in the preseason

After the agreement to carry out the 2022 season of Big leaguesthe teams are already getting ready to carry out the preseason phase which takes place in the states of Arizona and Florida with the realization of the famous Cactus and Grapefruit League respectively.

Given this and the short time that the teams would have to carry out a successful preseasonthey will be limited with few games to be able to plan something extensive in their players since the game limit will be less than in past years.

With the break between the Major Leagues and the Players Union, this forced the preseason calendar to be shortened little by little with the negatives in the negotiations of both parties. And it is that the break lasted more than 90 days and this complicated the planning of an extensive preseason.
