Good news for the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, their ace Clayton Kershaw has officially signed with the team for one year and $18 million dollars.
Kershaw, 33, is coming off a season marred by injuries, which ended up playing a defining role in the Dodgers’ postseason aspirations.
Still, he managed to launch his twelfth consecutive winning season.
Rumors prior to the lockout, which prevented any type of operation between players and team owners, placed Kershaw between the Texas Rangers and the Dodgers, the former being a favorite destination for the pitcher due to his Texan origin.
In the end, the pitcher, considered one of the best pitchers in history, opted for the organization that saw him debut in 2008, adding a year to his resume with the Dodgers.
