Inter have suffered an expensive loss of points in the exciting Italian title fight. The champion did not go further than 1-1 at Torino, Alexis Sanchez equalized in extra time. Inter follows, with one match less, at 4 points from leader AC Milan.

The Serie A title race is full of upheavals and plot twists and the next episode took place in Turin. Torino, without the injured Dennis Praetquickly took the lead after a rebound goal from defender Bremer.

Torino missed the 2-0 chances on the counterattack and Dzeko headed over the best chance to equalize. But Inter kept pushing and in extra time Alexis Sanchez – after a wonderful ball touch by Dzeko – still equalized: 1-1.

The form of champions Inter is on the decline, winning only 1 of its last 6 league games. It is now 4 points behind leader AC Milan, but still has a make-up game to spare.
