The ‘2022 Jeollanam-do Boys Athletic Competition’, which selects Jeonnam representatives to participate in the 51st National Youth Sports Festival, will be held in Hwasun-gun.
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that the ‘2022 Jeollanam-do Boys Athletic Tournament’, which will be held for two weeks from March 21st to April 2nd, will be held in three events: boxing, badminton, and bowling at Hanium Gymnasium and Pinx Bowling Alley.
The pre-match boxing match was held on the 11th at Hanium Boxing Gymnasium.
Eleven players representing Jeonnam were selected from the match in which about 30 players participated, including Hwasun Middle School and Jeonnam Chubu. Three students from Hwasun Middle School and Neungju Middle School are selected for Hwasun County to prepare for the National Youth Sports Festival to be held in May.
From the 25th to the 27th of this month, a bowling match will be held at the Pinx Bowling Alley in Hwasun-eup, and a badminton match will be held at the Yongdae Gymnasium on the 29th.
An official from Hwasun County said, “I hope that new prospects will be discovered in boxing and badminton, which are the elite sports of our military.
The 51st National Youth Sports Festival will be held in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, from May 28th to 31st.
