22 points and 15 rebounds for Clint Capela

Atlanta and Clint Capela are ramping up ahead of the season finale sprint. In Indianapolis, the Hawks picked up the victory which allows them – finally – to present a positive balance sheet.

Atlanta won 132-123 ahead of Indiana for its 38th success in 75 games. With his 22 points and 15 rebounds, Clint Capela was one of the big men of the evening. He thus remained only one point from his best total of the season, established on November 26 against Memphis.

Faced with the Pacers who conceded a fourth loss in a row and who have nothing more to hope for this season, the Hawks forced the decision from the outset. They won 44-30 the first quarter before controlling very easily following operations.

Now victorious in seven of their last ten matches, Atlanta (38 wins / 37 losses) still occupies tenth place in the Eastern Conference. But the gap that separates it from Brooklyn (39/36) and Charlotte (39/37) is getting smaller and smaller.
