Mercato: Tchouamni, really the ideal profile for PSG? – Soccer

Author of superb performances this season, AS Monaco midfielder Aurlien Tchouamni seems promised an XXL transfer next summer. With his immense potential, the French international finds himself considered by many observers as an opportunity not to be missed for Paris Saint-Germain.

Aurlien Tchouamni is in the sights of PSG.

It’s a top club, with very great players. They have made a lot of investments since the Qatari era. They have goals. Unfortunately for them, they haven’t managed to win the Champions League yet, but they have plenty of titles. They have great players. Inevitably, they want to look even further. I consider PSG to be a great team.

Present at a press conference on Sunday, AS Monaco midfielder Aurlien Tchouamni showed great respect for Paris Saint-Germain. Despite the interest of Premier League leaders and especially Real Madrid, the French international has therefore not closed the door to a transfer to the current leader of Ligue 1.

Tchouamni, PSG must go for Rothen!

Because next summer, the former Bordelais seems promised to leave ASM as part of an XXL operation. And for RMC radio consultant Jrme Rothen, PSG has no right to miss such an opportunity. Tchouamni is a player of the future. A player of the future and already a very, very high level player. In the France team, each time, he showed this strength he has with the ball, this personality in a different role compared to Monaco. I think he is well above average from a technical point of view, from a physical point of view and in terms of vision of the game. These are still interesting factors to continue growingunderlined the former Parisian, before insisting on the mentality of the young talent.

In addition, he has a lot of respect for Paris Saint-Germain because he, who plays in the championship, knows what PSG represents today in France. Unlike some foreigners who hide it completely and who just look at the check they are going to have, said Rothen. On paper, Tchouamni actually has a profile suited to the needs of the capital club. As we know, in the midfield, the Ile-de-France sporting director Leonardo is always looking for a player capable of bringing physical density to support Marco Verratti.

And in this area, the Mongasque has already proven that he is dominating in Ligue 1. Even at the highest level, the native of Rouen has some references in the French team with his recent copy against the Ivory Coast (2-1 ) in friendly, but also his performances against Belgium (3-2) and Spain (2-1) in the League of Nations. Despite his inexperience in the Champions League (he has never played in the group stage), Tchouamni seems to have the qualities to evolve in such a competition.

Watch out for the price…

On this issue, only one element can potentially cool PSG: the price demanded by AS Monaco. With the enormous competition for Tchouamni, the Principality’s club risks raising the stakes and being greedy. For his part, the former Parisian midfielder Mathieu Bodmer now has a fear of the amount demanded by Monaco Paris. Tchouamni, there must not be a PSG tariff and another for the other clubs. It is here the difficulty of the PSG. The problem is that if Monaco asks 50 from Real Madrid and 120 from PSG, at some point it’s normal for the Parisians to go for Pogba and not Tchouamni, for a financial question. This is where it is difficult for PSG to recruit in France, because as soon as the club arrives the price is always multiplied by 2, even 3pestered the consultant.

In Monaco, however, this is not politics. In 2017, for example, the Mongasques respected Kylian Mbapp’s desire to join PSG without seeking to apply a higher price. On the other hand, Paris can actually ask questions about the need to make a significant investment in this position for Tchouamni while Paul Pogba has the advantage of being free in June. But 22 years old, the Asmiste ticks almost all the boxes of the perfect profile for the Parisian project…
