TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR – Bali United came out as champion of the competition League 1 Indonesia 2021/2022.
Bali United’s success is inseparable from the figure of their coach, Stefano Cuggura or best known as Teco.
This is the League 1 title for the second time that Teco has presented to Bali United.
As well as becoming the third League 1 champion trophy for Teco throughout his career in Indonesian football.
Previously, Teco managed to win the 2018 Liga 1 season while managing Persija.

The interesting fact is that in two editions of Liga 1, Liga 1 2018 and Liga 1 2021/2022, Teco is in close competition with Robert Alberts in terms of presenting the title of champion.
In Liga 1 2018 Teco won with Persija which was only one point adrift of PSM Makassar, which at that time was managed by Robert Alberts.
Then in Liga 1 2021/2022, Teco with Bali United again thwarted the mission of Robert Alberts who was in charge of Persib Bandung.
Maung Bandung nicknamed Persib only finished as runner-up for Liga 1 2021/2022
Of course, the most remembered by football lovers in the country regarding the competition between Teco and Robert Alberts, namely the 2018 Liga 1 season.
