He hits a grand slam in the 10th inning 24h after stealing home plate for the win!

It takes nerves of steel and a taste for excessive risk to attempt a marble theft. After a few strides, the player who tries will become either a hero or a zero.

It’s not for nothing that it’s one of the most spectacular games in baseball. And it’s even more satisfying when it comes at a key moment in the game.

The pinnacle, of course, is stealing home plate for the win. That’s what we got over the weekend in a game between the University of Texas and Texas Tech University.

Late in the 10th inning, with two outs. wow. Kurt Wilson has just made a name for himself.

I note in passing that Texas Tech is ranked 16e and that their opponents represent the second best formation in the circuit.

After a marble flight, he does it again

It was on this audacious maneuver that Texas Tech won 5-4.

At that point, no one could have imagined that 24 hours later, still in the 10th inning, Wilson would find an equally sensational way to win his team over those same rivals…

A grand slam to bring victory to his team! Yes yes, it’s the same guy!

We’re all looking for our 15 minutes of fame. Kurt Wilson had two, 24 hours apart. We won’t see that again for 12,478,437,436 years.
