In the 17th week of Basketball ULEB European Cup Group B, Frutti Extra Bursaspor defeated Germany’s Ratiopharm Ulm team 86-72 away.
In the match played at Ratiopharm Arena, the Turkish representative was ahead 32-15 in the first quarter and ahead 53-34 in the half. Bursaspor, which did not allow the gap to dissolve in the third quarter, entered the last quarter with a superior 71-54 and won the match 86-72.
Frutti Extra Bursaspor won the 8th out of 17 matches in the group, while Ratiopharm Ulm suffered its 10th defeat at the end of the 17th match.
Following these results, Frutti Extra Bursaspor moved up to the 6th place in Group B, before the last week’s matches of the group, and won the right to compete in the next round by guaranteeing its place among the top 8 teams.
