LThe doctors and psychologists of the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) of Almería who have testified in the second session of the oral hearing against the soccer players Santi Mina and David Goldar have indicated that the “genital” injury that the young victim presented is “compatible and plausible” with the sexual assault that is prosecuted and have assured that the “symptomatology” of post-traumatic stress disorder that has been diagnosed “is directly related” to the events he recounts.
Lawyer Diego Capón, who, together with lawyer Manuel Ollé, defends soccer player David Goldar, has said that both he and striker Santi Mina are “quiet“and that the defense is”satisfied” with the development of the oral hearing for the alleged sexual assault on a woman in Mojácar (Almería) in 2017.
This Wednesday three civil guards have declared, a private detective Hired by Mina’s defense, two forensic doctors and two psychologists from the Institute of Legal Medicine of Almería.
The private detective has explained how he carried out the investigation of the victim in July and October 2019, with a “tracking as far as possible“, except when another detective pretended to be a person interested in renting an apartment to talk with the complainant for “a minute” in a “very cordial” way.
All this with the aim, he said, of verifying if part of what was stated in a psychological report -such as if he went out with friends, if he had a partner, changes in his way of dressing, etc.-, adjusted to reality and wore a “normal social life”. This was when Santi Mina’s lawyer, according to journalist Javier Pajarón (La Voz de Almería), asked the detective if the alleged victim “she wore skirts and tight clothes“, to which the investigator replied that “it is usual for her.” The detective concluded that she had “normal behavior” and did not see “anything abnormal”, acknowledging that she has no specific knowledge of psychology or medicine.
The trial is scheduled to conclude this Thursday, in public audience, with the appearance of another seven people as experts and the taking of documentary evidence. Next, the parties will present their final reports and it will be seen for sentencing.
