Extraliga next season? It will descend, almost everyone will advance to the playoffs

A week has passed since we brought you more detailed speculation from behind the scenes of the Tipsport Extraliga about possible coaching moves. In the first part, we focused mainly on changes in the Steelwork staff. In the second part, we looked at possible acquisitions of former national team coaches. As new and interesting speculations are still emerging, we bring you the third part of this topic.

It is already clear that an extremely turbulent summer awaits us on the coaching post. This fact was exacerbated by the rapid elimination of Dynamo in the quarterfinals, after which it took less than 48 hours when the owner Petr Dědek recalled the complete coaching staff with Richard Král.

GROSS AS A REPLACEMENT?

The management of Pardubice has swayed to drastic changes, in addition to the coaches, manager Tomáš Rolinek has also finished, and the most recent is the dismissal of the Canadian forward Anthony Camara, even though he signed a new two-year contract in January.

In the meantime, the experienced Pavel Gross unexpectedly resigned in Mannheim, Germany. After all, he himself rejected the national team offer a few weeks ago because he wanted to give priority to year-round work at the club level.

It is so clear that it will not be without engagement for a long time. There is certainly a continuation in Germany, but Gross also admitted that he would not mind returning to the Czech Republic. Petr Dědek himself admitted that he would like such a coach in Pardubice. “He is someone who could definitely lead Dynamo. I can imagine that“Said the owner of the club in the program Hokej a day later on ČT Sport.

It looks like Gross will probably be the number one choice for Dynamo these days. In the same way, however, we must not forget the speculation at the end of the basic part, when there was talk of the arrival of Alois Hadamczik. At that time, both Petr Dědek and the former national team coach himself rejected these speculations.

However, the truth is that Hadamczik’s name has been inflected for a long time in connection with Dynamo. Therefore, we can hardly dismiss this variant with a clear conscience. In addition, joining the club from the beginning of the season is far more lucrative for Hadamczik than taking over the finished team during the year.

THE PATTERN ATTRACTS SPARTA

Big changes on the inverter are most likely planned for Sparta as well. Although the club from the capital still has a solid hope of winning the coveted title this year after fifteen long years, the current tandem of Josef Jandač and Miloslav Hořava will not continue on the Sparta bench next season.

Jandač has previously stated that he will take a break from hockey for a while, so that after a long time he can vent his head a bit and come up with other ideas. In the case of Hořava, this year is more of an emergency engagement. If it weren’t for Jandač, he probably wouldn’t have gone to Sparta this season either.

According to the daily Sport and the iDnes website, the hottest candidate for the post of head coach of the people of Prague is Pavel Patera. During the current season, he ended up unexpectedly at his own request in Mladá Boleslav. Sparta’s management contacted the former Olympic winner from Nagano a few weeks ago.

Patera allegedly attends matches in the O2 Arena regularly, he was on display at Sparta’s home stand even during the quarterfinal series with Liberec. According to some sources, Pater’s engagement is a done deal. ČT Sport commentator Ondřej Zamazal also spoke about his arrival a few days ago.

The daily Sport also brought the information that Patrik Martinec (currently České Budějovice) and Martin Štrba, who once played for Sparta for three seasons, should work as assistants at Patera. The last time he coached several teams in the second highest competition.
