If Ajax Amsterdam right-back Noussair Mazraoui, Chelsea central defender Andreas Christensen and AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié could all land freely in the coming months, FC Barcelona is not satisfied. According to the daily Sport, the Catalan club hopes to convince the left side José Gaya (26 years old, 23 games and 2 goals in all competitions this season) not to extend with FC Valence.
Linked to the club until June 2023, the Spaniard would then play a final season with the Murciélagos before freely joining Camp Nou in just over a year. It now remains to be seen whether the main interested party will follow the advice of the Barcelona leaders.
