Double VMO champion in Thailand, Axelle shines by never giving up. She fights. At 12, she left for a championship in Thailand and became French champion in the teenage category. She would return two years later to Thailand and bring back another title.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, training
Initially, her mother, Emilie, who practiced judo for a long time, took part in a sports activities forum in Toury and it was Lenny, Axelle’s little brother, who discovered the practice of boxing. Axelle, then 10 years old, very quickly embarked on this sport. After the closure of the boxing club in Toury, she turned to that of Étampes.
“I train on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I owe my development to my coaches Henrick and Alpha,” she underlines. To her credit, the young woman has eighteen fights, including four defeats. “I had the opportunity to travel to Thailand, Spain, Italy, Belgium…”, she continues.
“Rigour, humility, courage”
The young woman also coaches the youngest from 4 to 12 years old. “Boxing teaches me discipline, rigor, respect, humility, courage. I’m a person who doesn’t express myself a lot, so boxing allows me to express myself,” she smiles. “I left the school system with the support of my parents to enter working life because it suits me better. »
Currently, Axelle Lamblin has a seasonal job “but I would like to work in a personal assistance profession because I like to help. In the meantime, I will focus on civic service missions. »
