It’s almost a miracle it will take the Lakers. 11th in the Western Conference and virtually eliminated from the play-in, the teammates of Russell Westbrook remain on 4 defeats in a row. Worse: a smashing schedule awaits them, in what could be one of the biggest fiascos in NBA history. So in these difficult moments, inevitably, we turn to LeBron James.
The King carried the Californian franchise on his Herculean shoulders all season, but he was overtaken by physical problems forcing him to miss the last two games. Insiders are talking about a comeback over the weekend, but the Akron native himself dropped a bombshell.
LeBron announces the end of the season… but is it true?
In a tweet that quickly blew up the basketball world, LeBron simply announced that he was ending his season:

The overwhelming majority of Internet users consider this to be an April Fool’s joke, but James’s words are serious enough for doubt to persist…
It will therefore be necessary to wait a few hours or even a few days to have the end of the story, but Lakers fans are laughing out loud after this tweet which they fear, deep down, is very real. Remember, however, that this April 1st is conducive to jokes, and that LeBron must play in 3 games again this season to be eligible for the title of top scorer of the season which is so close to his heart.
