[Reuters]–The American Basketball Association (NBA) played games in various places on the 1st, and Wizards, to which Rui Hachimura belongs, beat the Mavericks 135-103.
Starting pitcher Hachimura played for about 29 minutes with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Kentavious Caldwell Pope scored the team’s highest score of 35 points, while Kristaps Porzingis scored 24 points and 9 rebounds.
At the Mavericks, Luka Doncic struggled with the team’s highest score of 36 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, but was not rewarded.
Yuta Watanabe’s Raptors defeated Magic 102-89 and won five straight games. Pascal Siakam contributed to the victory with 16 points and 11 rebounds in double-double, and Scottie Barnes and Fred VanVleet both contributed to the victory with 19 points. Watanabe is outside the bench.
The Celtics beat the Pacers 128-123, the Kings beat the Rockets 122-117, and the Spurs beat the Trail Brazers 130-111. The Grizzlies beat Sands 122-114, Pistons beat Thunder 110-101, and the Clippers beat Bucks 153-119.
