At the beginning of the second round, Samušonoks tried to grab the opponent’s leg, but it was unsuccessful and Jezerzanski earned two more points, ending the fight with 6: 0.
The Latvian wrestler took the fifth place.
It has already been reported that in the first fight on Tuesday, Samushonok defeated the French representative Ahmed Aibuyev 4: 1, but in the quarterfinals with 0: 7 he acknowledged Abakarov’s superiority.
Abakarov also won the semi-finals, so Samušonoks won the right to fight in a satisfaction tournament, in which the Latvian athlete beat Denis Balaur from Moldova 10: 0, gaining the opportunity to fight for the bronze prize.
